Companies and individuals can now search for and have access to two years of Twitter updates for market research purposes.
Twitter has partnered with the social data platform company DataSift ( http://www.datasift.com/ ) to launch Historics, a cloud-computing platform that enables companies and market researchers to extract business insights from Twitter’s public Tweets ( http://www.twitter.com/ ), dating back to January 2010, and gather useful insights related to brands, businesses, financial markets, news and public opinion.
