Despite Research, FDA Says Marijuana Has No Benefit
The Food and Drug Administration issued a statement in April that no sound scientific studies support the medicinal use of marijuana for treatment. This conclusion left some researchers puzzled.
“I don't understand where that came from,” said John Benson, M.D., a professor of medicine at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, who chaired an Institute of Medicine panel that wrote a 267-page report, Marijuana and Medicine, Assessing the Science Base, published in 1999. “We found sufficient evidence that [smoking marijuana] had benefits for some patients, such as to help with nausea and chemotherapy for cancer treatment. We recommended that further research be done, but it hasn't been.”

Vaginal Probes and God: Has the GOP evolved into America's 21st Century Puritans
"They live amongst us and they intend to dominate. They are America's 21st Century Puritans and they refer to themselves as the stewards / guardians of 'true conservative ideology' and they ARE continuously on a religious Crusade. If given the opportunity they will become America's 21st century Taliban."

UAW to fly anti-Mitt Romney banner at Daytona 500
In advance of this year's Daytona 500, one of America's favorite past times, UAW is taking their message to the track and to the air. With 31 of 43 cars racing tomorrow made by one America's big three auto makers, UAW will fly a plane and banner from 10:30-11:30 with Romney's dooming declaration that we should have "let Detroit go bankrupt." The banner - which will read "Mitt Romney: Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" - the same message that UAW delivered outside of Romney's disastrous speech in Detroit on Friday - will fly over the famous track reminding NASCAR and its fans that no thanks to Mitt Romney the Auto Industry is back and here to stay.

Monsanto's Bt GMO corn to be sold at Wal-Mart with no indication it is genetically modified Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/035029_GM_corn_Walmart_Monsanto.html#ixzz1nanikk25
(NaturalNews) Most of the genetically-modified (GM) corn products forced on American consumers today are hidden in processed foods in the form of high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), corn oil, corn starch, and various other corn-based additives. But soon to be available at a Walmart near you is Monsanto's Bt sweet corn, the agri-giant's first ever GM corn product made available to consumers as whole ears right on the cob in the produce section-- and like with all other GMOs, neither Walmart nor Monsanto has any intention of labeling this new "Frankencorn."
